The edge tape is melted directly onto the edge of the board, eliminating the need for glue and resulting in doors with no visible glue lines. This technique is carried out using custom-built Homag KAL 310 edgebanders, which guarantee a superior edge quality.
Following the latest European trends, the doors are designed with a 1.2mm thick edge, adding to their modern and sleek appearance.
Invisedge® doors benefit from using MKT Alpha-Tape®PP Zero, a Polypropylene edgetape that outperforms PVC or ABS alternatives. MKT Alpha-Tape®PP Zero offers several advantages, including being more environmentally friendly, exhibiting minimal shrinkage, providing improved chemical resistance, and maintaining its colorfastness over time. By incorporating this edgetape, the doors achieve enhanced overall quality and durability while minimizing their environmental impact.
